About the role

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to take ownership of the operational business needs so our founders can focus on growing the business.

What you’ll do

• Oversee Cargado’s multi-national quality program across North America

• Own key business operations workflows like contracts, bill pay, NDAs, and quote docs

• Provide initial customer success support and manage our CRM (Hubspot) including marketing email campaigns

• Manage internal workstreams like company all-hands and leadership-team meetings

• Support board prep work and draft investor updates

• Determine where existing processes should be changed or improved to ensure smooth operations and clear cross-functional collaboration

• Research market, brokerage, and carrier data for content and GTM needs

• Push forward special projects across business units based on need. Examples include: helping stand up a new department, leading a task-force around a specific issue, aiding with sales enablement, acting as a recruiter, and creating key pieces of marketing material

About you

• 5+ years of experience with at least 2+ years in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment in an operations capacity

• 2+ years of consulting experience is preferred

• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish

• Must be based in Chicago, IL

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders

• Nimble and curious to wear different hats and continue to learn

• Excellent communicator and able to work cross-functionally

• Resourceful and capable of doing research and working through data sets

• Excellent with excel

• Prior experience in freight is preferred, but not required

• Hubspot experience is preferred, but not required
