Harbinger Motors Inc. is a Southern California-based electric vehicle manufacturer on a mission to transform the automotive and transportation industries, bringing to market EVs developed from the ground up to address the needs of the Medium Duty vehicle industry. Position Overview:
The Head of Sales Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sales operations function at Harbinger Motors. This role will focus on developing and implementing strategies, processes, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales operations, data analysis, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives and market opportunities. Collaborate with the sales leadership team to set sales targets and forecast revenue.
- Sales Process Optimization: Evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and ensure consistent application across the sales team.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- CRM Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of our CRM system. Ensure accurate and timely data entry, and leverage CRM data to drive sales initiatives.
- Sales Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales operations budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support sales objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales operations team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
