ICON is seeking to find a Site Technician to support printing operations on project sites. This role will be responsible for all auxiliary responsibilities required to upkeep and sustain print operations using ICON’s technology stack in the field. This includes the ability to operate heavy equipment (telehandler/forklift) to receive daily inventory, materials, parts, cycle counting, consumable management & distribution to project sites. This role will assist Print Captains on print sites in a number of capacities and should be well versed on build and quality standards as well as eager to build proficiency around ICON’s technology stack. The location of this role is dependent on business needs and may be anywhere in the United States likely requiring commute or travel with an HQ in Austin, TX. Must have the ability to work overnights, and weekends, as needed to fit into a 24/7 operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Material, consumable receiving, and intra-site distribution.
- Inventory management of consumables/equipment/inventory for project site. ensuring there is never downtime incurred on print sites due to lack of replenishment.
- On slab assistance.
- Daily reporting for cycle counting, bill of materials updating, and end of shift. performance reporting.
- Operate heavy machinery on a daily basis.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work on weekends and during 12+ hour shifts performing manual labor with concrete work.
- Willingness to work in various outdoor environments, including temperatures over 100 degrees or below freezing, sun, rain, mud, and situations with lack of electricity, etc.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb up and down ladders multiple times a day, and handle concrete regularly.
- Willingness to perform a combination of manual tasks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation as required through collaboration with Print Captains on your project site.
- Experience operating heavy machinery (telehandler / forklift / skid steer) safely.
- Strong communication skills and an open mind with the desire to execute and learn every day.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- OSHA 10 Certified
- CPR Certified
- Telehandler Certified
