  • Develop and manage critical quality systems—including NRTL and CE certifications—ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards across all manufacturing stages.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure seamless New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition from prototype to full-scale production.
  • Manage and maintain complex Bills of Materials (BOMs), process routings, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Oversee Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO), ensuring accuracy, traceability, and continuity of product knowledge.
  • Partner with product and process engineers to evaluate manufacturability during early design phases and standardize assembly processes across product lines.
  • Develop and implement advanced data-driven approaches to process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide floor-level support for assembly, test, and validation activities—including hands-on root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Contribute to facility layout planning, tooling design, capacity modeling, and equipment selection to support long-term manufacturing scalability.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering in a product-based or construction-focused environment.
  • Proven experience across mechanical and electrical system manufacturing, including mobile or large-scale machinery.
  • Hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Deep understanding of process documentation, quality standards, and configuration management practices.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other parametric CAD tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and support hands-on troubleshooting in a factory environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced data analytics skills with the ability to use metrics and statistical tools for process optimization and problem-solving.
  • Experience managing third-party certifications (NRTL, CE) and navigating product compliance pathways.
  • Demonstrated ownership of process definition and implementation in a fast-paced, iterative R&D-to-production environment.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to synthesize mechanical, electrical, and software elements into streamlined manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
