As a Data & Analytics Program Manager, you will be the operational backbone of OneRail’s Data & Analytics team. This role blends business analysis, project coordination, and program operations to support the intake, prioritization, and execution of analytics initiatives. You will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical data teams, translating requests into structured requirements and ensuring alignment through delivery. Workflow Intake & Prioritization
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data and analytics intake requests.
- Evaluate and triage incoming requests based on impact, urgency, and resource capacity.
- Facilitate sprint planning or kanban processes and manage task tracking via tools like ClickUp.
- Support scoping and effort estimation to aid in sprint forecasting.
- Translate business questions into structured technical requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions to define scope, success metrics, and deliverables.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and timelines clearly and proactively.
- Ensure alignment on scoped deliverables and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track task ownership, monitor timelines, and escalate blockers as needed.
- Maintain a roadmap of current and upcoming initiatives.
- Coordinate across departments to align dependencies and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain and enhance SOPs, intake templates, and QA checklists.
- Centralize project documentation, including outcomes and stakeholder-facing materials.
- Partner with enablement and training teams to support stakeholder education on data tools and processes.
- Assist in onboarding new team members with established best practices and frameworks.
- Contribute to evolving and scaling project management and intake operations.
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years in a business analyst, data program coordinator, data program manager, or analytics operations role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex analytics workflows concurrently.
- Experience in SaaS or technology environments supporting cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable prioritizing competing demands with sound rationale.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Asana).
- Familiarity with SQL and data analytics workflows; experience with Snowflake and Power BI a plus.
- General understanding of modern data warehouse and pipeline architecture.
- Exposure to Python is helpful but not required.
- Experience building dashboards for team performance or KPI tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies or Scrum frameworks.
- Prior experience creating SOPs or documentation for analytics operations.
