About the Role

Prokeep is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that drive awareness, demand, and revenue for our software products and offering. This role involves close collaboration with product management, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to understand the product, market, and customer needs, and to create compelling messaging and positioning. The Product Marketer will lead the go-to-market strategy for product launches, manage product lifecycle marketing, and create content that educates and engages target audiences.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced individual contributor with a background of building, launching, and scaling great products. He or she must excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and possess great communication skills in order to drive comprehensive and effective go to market strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates

  • Collaborate with product management to understand product roadmap and create GTM plans that align with business objectives

  • Define target markets and customer personas, and tailor marketing efforts accordingly

Product Positioning and Messaging:

  • Craft compelling product messaging that differentiates the product in the market.

  • Develop and maintain product positioning documents, sales enablement materials, and product pages on the website

  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels

Content Creation:

  • Create and manage a variety of content to promote and communicate about our products

  • Work with designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing and training materials

  • Develop content that resonates with the target audience and addresses their pain points

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape

  • Analyze competitor products and marketing strategies to identify opportunities and threats

  • Use insights to refine product messaging and marketing strategies

  • Assist with recommendations for pricing and packaging of products as a part of the GTM process.

Sales Enablement:

  • Provide sales teams with the tools and training they need to effectively sell the product

  • Develop sales presentations, product demos, and objection-handling resources

  • Gather feedback from the sales team to continuously improve marketing efforts

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in product marketing in SaaS, preferably B2B

  • Demonstrated experience driving a product forward, clearly communicating a go-to-market strategy, and executing it across a cross functional team

  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and go-to-market strategies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with task management, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions

  • Thrives in working through ambiguity - adaptable and flexible

  • Creative thinker with a passion for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions

Working Relationship & Compensation
